As a co-parenting mum of three, I know first-hand what parental burnout feels like. I’ve been in the trenches—there were days, even weeks, when I didn’t laugh, didn’t feel joy in being around my kids. I felt numb. I told myself, “this must just be what parenting is like”—but I was too deep in it to see clearly.
It wasn’t until I was honest with myself that I realised I needed help. And once I reached out, everything began to shift.
I don’t want other parents to suffer in silence the way I did. The first step is admitting to yourself how you really feel. The next step is telling someone.
Parenting is full of love and laughter, but it can also bring exhaustion and overwhelm. That’s why, as a qualified life coach, I now help other parents put practical tools in place to improve their wellbeing, strengthen their relationships with their children, and reconnect with themselves.
